Pocono Bike Rentals gets you to and from; the Lehigh Gorge State Park Access in Jim Thorpe to the Trailheads in White Haven, Rockport or the recently minted D&L Black Diamond Trail in Glen Summit. Our VIP Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle service is unlike any other. We operate daily from May until November and ONLY use small new passenger vans not rickety old school busses that are; slow to load, slow to drive, slow to get there and slow to unload.
We use top of the line New Environmentally Friendly Ford Transit 350 XLT Eco-Boost VIP Shuttle Vans! ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED; for all our Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle Services. We bring the bikes to you, loaded up on our great bike rack equipped trailers and we are ready to go once all our scheduled guests arrive! We are the only company offering VIP shuttle services from Jim Thorpe to White Haven at the start of the world famous Lehigh Gorge Trail (Top 100 Rail Trail in the US). Most people can finish this tour in about 3-4 hours with stops for pictures, sightseeing and lunch (not included).
- Jim Thorpe to Glen Summit, Get dropped off at the Glen Summit Access Trailhead to ride unguided, downhill (2-4% grade) the 33.5 Mile D&L Black Diamond Trail back to Jim Thorpe.

- The 9 AM Shuttle will stop in White Haven first; if there are riders for it and then continue on to Glen summit. This is an approximately 45 minute shuttle ride without stopping in White Haven.

This is a specialized VIP Bike shuttle from Jim Thorpe north to the recently developed D & L Black Diamond Trail in Glen Summit and is not for the faint of heart! To get the full effect of the Pocono Mountain Biking Experience you must try this 4-5 hour ride (including stops for pictures, sightseeing, food and water breaks).
- Jim Thorpe to Rockport – Get dropped off at the Rockport Access Point to ride unguided, downhill )2-4% grad) the 13.5 Mile Lehigh Gorge Bike Trail back to Jim Thorpe.

- This is a not an Express Route, it is approximately a 35-45 minute shuttle time depending on if there is White Haven drop off ridership.

Try to be the King of the Poconos and bike the additional D&L Black Diamond Trail located in Glen Summit, PA. Tack on additional 10 mile easy downhill ride through beautiful forests, streams and lakes with benches and tables along the way for picnicking for a total of 33.5 miles and 4-5 hours of fun. The well maintained trail surface offers everyone a great introduction to the Poconos Mountain Biking Scene.

The Jim Thorpe bike shuttle pickup location is approximately one half mile down the access road inside the Glen Onoko area of the Lehigh Gorge State Park. The exact spot is the Bicycle Concession Shuttle Pickup area of the parking lot, which is pictured below and is about a half mile into the park from the entrance. If you reach the main parking lot across the wooden bridges, you have gone too far, turn around and go back through the parking lot back over the wooden bridges then past the Rusty Railroad bridge until you see the first parking lot with the signage pictured below, our Modern Ford Transit 350XLT Eco-Boost (not the van pictured below) will be there with Orange Safety Cones sitting next to it.

PLEASE READ: BE ON TIME FOR YOUR SHUTTLE TRIP! Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to departure. If you are late by even 5 minutes of the departure time YOU WILL NOT be accommodated and or may have to be rescheduled (if available) or worse; DENIED SERVICE.
A $60 return shuttle fee will be charged for missed shuttles. (The AM Jim Thorpe Bike Rentals must be returned by 4:30 PM.) The Jim Thorpe pickups can fill up quickly on the weekends so please book ahead to guarantee your spot!

The VIP Bike Shuttle Service pickup spot is just past this bridge on the right side of the road where you parked your cars!
