When you ride the famous Lehigh Gorge Trail from the White Haven Access Point back to Jim Thorpe it’s 23.5 miles (3-4 hours). Shuttle times up in the morning are at 9am, 11am and 1pm on the Weekends, 11am during the week. You can also be picked up at the Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle location at 3 PM weekends ONLY and dropped off at the Lehigh Gorge Rockport Access Point near the amazing Buttermilk Falls, you then ride back to Jim Thorpe 13.5 miles away (2 hours).
Another option from the Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle location; you can get dropped off at the D&L Black Diamond Trail which takes you 33.5 miles (4+ hours) from Glen Summit to Jim Thorpe (9am midweek ONLY 3-4 person min.)

Pocono Bike Rentals gets you to and from; the Lehigh Gorge State Park Access in Jim Thorpe to the Trailheads in White Haven, Rockport or the recently minted D&L Black Diamond Trail in Glen Summit. Our VIP Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle service is unlike any other. We operate daily from May until November and ONLY use small new passenger vans not rickety old school busses that are; slow to load, slow to drive, slow to get there and slow to unload.
FREE PARKING: we offer a more convenient, less traffic and no parking fee, VIP Shuttle Services and Bike Rentals from the Glen Onoko Access Point of the Lehigh Gorge State Park across the new bridge on the East Side of Jim Thorpe. We meet you right inside the Lehigh Gorge State Park in White Haven (D & L Trail White Haven South Access Point) The trailhead is currently under construction so we meet in the overflow lot off of PA State Route 940 near the I80 White Haven exit/entrance ramp across from Powerhouse Road. The map is at the very bottom of this page. This Lehigh Gorge State Park trail head is (100 yards just past our competitor Pocono Biking, inside the park) We will be parked near the informational signs and bathrooms and in a white Ford Transit 350 XLT passenger van with orange safety cones next to it and bikes on a trailer.
Some of our activities and especially our Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttles need to be reserved well in advance and are subject to availability. For more information during non-business hours please use our contact us form. A same day booking fee and or custom shuttle fee of $5/person will apply to all last minute (day of) reservations at our discretion.
The Poconos Bike Shuttle VIP Service can take you to the D&L Black Diamond Trail located in Glen Summit, or pick you up from inside the world famous, Lehigh Gorge. After departing from our White Haven or Jim Thorpe Bike Shuttle locations for an easy downhill ride through beautiful forests, streams and lakes with benches and picnic tables along the way. We also are picking up at the Rockport Trail-head midday and in Jim Thorpe at the end of the day. We are licensed by the DCNR (PA Department of Conservation of Natural Resources) to pick up and transport bikers in and out of the Lehigh Gorge State Park.
E-BIKE Restrictions: No e-bikes will be transported unless preauthorized by management. We also charge an extra $25 for them when we do authorize a transport of them.
DCNR E-Bike Restrictions: No E-Bikes that are throttle assist and not simply pedal assist and/or travel at over 25mph will be allowed on our shuttle vans and are restricted from Lehigh Gorge Trail usage.
