Skiing in the Poconos has take a back seat to great mountain biking weather.
Today is technically Christmas Eve for Pocono Ski Resorts with normal temperatures usually in the 30’s but thanks to a massive El Nino off the Pacific coastline we have sunny skies and 65 degrees of great Pocono Biking weather! The forecast and future days ahead have ski resorts in PA scrambling for options.
Pocono Resorts have turned to marketing everything but Skiing in the Poconos and are instead calling up Bike Rental shops such as Pocono Bike Rental to satisfy their guests thirst for fun! Owner Tom Williams states; “With all due respect to my friends in the ski industry I will take it! I feel bad for my buddies who work as ski instructors and in snowmaking at the Pocono Ski Resorts.”
PoconoBikeRental.com will be open daily through New Year’s day and beyond offering biking in the Lehigh Gorge State Park and surrounding communities such as Jim Thorpe, White Haven, Lake Harmony, Stroudsburg and Pocono Resort Areas.
