Are pets allowed?
No pets allowed, especially in our Kids Cabooses!!! With prior authorization and extra cleaning/sanitation fees paid in advance there may be exceptions to this rule, if you bring your own pet carrier like a back pack and the dog is well behaved and not let out of the carrier in our shuttle vans. Please call BEFORE booking well in advance of your planned reservation date. Weekends are much harder to accommodate this type of request.
Are there health, fitness and/or weight restrictions?
All of our outdoor adventures require a moderate level of physical fitness. These are participatory sports events that have ever changing trail conditions, river levels and flow, weather and environmental conditions that are beyond our control. These things present challenges to even the most physically fit let alone a couch potato or someone who spends too much time behind a desk, computer screen and/or social media.
As far as rafting, kayaking, tubing or stand-up paddle boarding you must be able to get back into a raft, kayak or tube and back onto a SUP if you should fall out or off them. Having the ability to swim is preferred, but life jackets are issued and required to wear which aid in floatation an for any rescuing efforts necessary by our guide staff, other rafters, kayakers, tubers or other river guests. If you are excessively overweight or out of shape, we can refuse service to anyone we feel is a risk to their own safety, other guests or our guide staff. Also if you have a disability that would prevent you from self-rescue please consider that when making your reservation. You can also let us know at the beginning of the trip or prior to and we can have an awareness of your issues and try to accommodate them safely.
How long is the Bike, Kayak, SUP and or River Tube Rental for?
All mountain bike, kayak, SUP and Tubing rentals are for the day trip/tour and must be returned by the listed time on the page you booked on. If not returned within 2 hours of your reservation ending time slot you will be charged the daily rental rate until it is returned up to 3 days then an additional one time $500 fee will be charged to the credit card on file to replace the bike in our inventory and/or theft charges will be filed with State and/or Local Police.
