5-25-15 Jam Packed Poconos for Biking and Rafting the Lehigh Gorge Memorial Day Weekend

The Poconos was packed this weekend and Pocono Bike Rental was SOLD OUT!!!

Mother nature cooperated in a big way and gave us a glorious sun filled “SUMMER IS HERE” kinda feeling! We all needed this vacation weekend to let off some steam from the winter chill we had in the Northeast US. Here in the outdoor adventure sport mecca, White Haven, Poconos, PA we have the Lehigh River Gorge to play in and reacquaint ourselves with our natural beginnings.

The shortened spring season and time to get things ready for summer fun around the house, really didn’t allow for a lot of time to plan ahead for vacation this year. It seems all 30+ million people traveling in the I80/I95/I81/I476 corridor passed through the Poconos at some point as traffic was intense and business was BOOMING from what most local business owners and staff were highlighting!

Pocono Bike Rental along with several other White Haven, PA merchants all agreed;“It was like the busiest fourth of July weekend, but May!” The fact that most businesses were experiencing more than usual sales volume can be attributed to many things. The fact that the Poconos still remains the place to be on the east coast south of New England for affordable Outdoor Family FUN! We get to play in the great outdoors everyday here in White Haven, PA. The Lehigh Gorge is our backyard and we let other kids come and play in our sandbox here and they like it!

Thank you to the staff at the DCNR that provided our safety and traffic control in and around the Lehigh Gorge.
